Bring Jerry Home
Los Angeles
Two American boys, my son, Robert 'Jerry' Pfeifer, and, his half-brother, Sasha Hummel, were kidnapped to Central Europe by their Slovakian mother.

he story below of the abduction of my son Jerry and his half-brother Sasha, the 18-month journey, the people I have met and the lessons I have learned are the catalysts for Chapter 2.

We have a happy ending. Jerry and Sasha are gratefully, now home safe. But I cannot forget those who are still looking for their loved ones. There is a need for well-written protective legislation for children. International abductions are especially difficult with their ever-changing laws from country to country and their relations with the US.  It is maddening how difficult it is to navigate.

I am now hoping to put in motion a movement, through the Bring Jerry Home community, to start the process of instituting change.  It starts with the people and you have all proven to be a force of nature in helping to bring us our happy ending.  I am hoping that same force will help us grow this community and our quest to initialize Chapter 2: Coming Together To Make A Difference.

Many warned that the probability of a happy ending was remote.  We all proved them wrong.  We can do this!
