Everitt Chase

Everitt Chase successfully recovered his son Thomas from abduction to Italy in 2016. He overcame complex procedural and international hurdles to bring his son home and secured legal safeguards to ensure his safety.

Along the way, Everitt amassed a wealth of information that can be transmitted to other parents to help them successfully advocate for their children's return. His session on DIY FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) peels back the curtain on bureaucratic processes which could deter parents from seeking full access to their case information, and provides helpful tips for successfully navigating the FOIA process.
